📋Review of Carioca Heart by Jusbox edp

Starts out like a mango pineapple daiquiri with a hint of rum (not boozy in any means). This mix drink is for the lightweights, the ones who like their cocktails more juicy/sweet than alcohol-y. Then the sandalwood and ambroxan kicks in, giving it a slight rubbery scent on me, but this gets better with each wear. Also, I am not a fan of either notes because my skin tends to turn rubbery, but not terrible in Carioca Heart. The drydown is where I hit gold: the sandalwood gives a creamy touch to the vanilla. The mango is still present but in the background with a slight kick of labandanum.

 Although the opening is sweet and fruit, as this dries down, the sandalwood and labdanum adds a more masculine side. Therefore, this one leans perfectly unisex

👩‍⚖️VERDICT: a big like but not a love

 Although I love the beginning and drydown, the slight synthetic chemical smell in the mid, probably from the sandalwood/ambroxan, turns this from a love to just a like for me. I will say that it has been improving as it macerates, but still not completely gone. If you are a sandalwood/ambroxan lover, this will be a big win for you. ⭐️ The atomizer is amazing and of one of the best I’ve ever had.

📋Review of Lait de Coco by Le Monde Gourmand edp

The milky white liquid gives this scent a resemblance to coconut milk. It’s not overly creamy but more of a watery coconut (with very slight sun tan vibes but quickly fades). I don’t like to drink coconut milk but if it had a scent, this is what I imagine it to smell like.
