📋Review of Cirque de Soleil L’eau de Parfum

A magical scent that does not disappoint the circus snack lovers. L'eau de Parfum starts off with a buttery popcorn and cotton candy, but not at all loud or in your face. The gourmand notes are light and airy, like getting a waft of butter popcorn and cotton candy as you are passing by. The popcorn note quickly fades, as the scent transitions into a vanilla and apple drydown. The apple is reminiscent of burning a Macintosh Apple Yankee Candle (also very similar to the dry down of Hufflepuff by House of Sillage).

[top] cotton candy, red apple, bergamot

[mid] butter, popcorn, freesia, iris petals

[base] caramel, vanilla bean, amber, sandalwood

⏳ LONGEVITY: 3-4 hrs

👠 OCCASION: casual/cozy

If there is such a thing as "comfort-scent," this would be the one. The soft gourmand notes are soothing, and I personally wear it to wind down from the day. This can also be a fun scent for an outing or a day of running errands.

🌸☀️🍂❄️ SEASON: any

Because the gourmand notes are subdued, this can also work in the high heat, which makes this a great year-round fragrance.

🚹🚺 SCENT LEANS: feminine

👩‍⚖️VERDICT:

Only issue is the longevity. For how expensive this fragrance is, 3-4 hours seems a bit lacking. With that being said, if this scent was stronger, it would be harder to wear during high heat summers. Therefore, if you are a diehard gourmand fan, I say it is still worth it, but if you want your scents to wear and project as much as it cost, then it will be a pass.
