📋Review of Bright Peach by Maison Alhambra edp

You need to like patchouli for this one to be enjoyable. I do not like patchouli, cognac, or honey all that much so it’s not a surprise I do not like this one at all. Why did I buy it? One of my favorite youtube influencers, GentsScents, called it a very bright peach so I just went with it and ordered. It is brighter than Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach and less boozy but not exactly fruity and bright as I imagined. This is a dark/vintage peach that is very mature and not for the happy go lucky soul.

This is the polar opposite of my scent profile. If I could rename this scent, it would be Patchouli Peach because that is mainly what I smell. The Peach isn’t sweet but more dried up and stale. I imagine that people who like vintage scents and patchouli/honey lovers would like this but not for me.

The milky white liquid gives this scent a resemblance to coconut milk. It’s not overly creamy but more of a watery coconut (with very slight sun tan vibes but quickly fades). I don’t like to drink coconut milk but if it had a scent, this is what I imagine it to smell like. 📋Review of Carioca Heart by Jusbox edp

Starts out like a mango pineapple daiquiri with a hint of rum (not boozy in any means). This mix drink is for the lightweights, the ones who like their cocktails more juicy/sweet than alcohol-y. Then the sandalwood and ambroxan kicks in, giving it a slight rubbery scent on me, but this gets better with each wear. Also, I am not a fan of either notes because my skin tends to turn rubbery, but not terrible in Carioca Heart. The drydown is where I hit gold: the sandalwood gives a creamy touch to the vanilla.      A magical scent that does not disappoint the circus snack lovers. L'eau de Parfum starts off with a buttery popcorn and cotton candy, but not at all loud or in your face. The gourmand notes are light and airy, like getting a waft of butter popcorn and cotton candy as you are passing by. The popcorn note quickly fades, as the scent transitions into a vanilla and apple drydown.
