📋Review of Jimmy Choo Floral edt

I first tried this last year in Jan./Feb., when it was still kinda cold, and did not love it. It felt more aromatic and less fruity, which was a let down for me because (based on the notes) I was looking forward to a fruity floral. I ended up moving this to my April Tray this year and, to my surprise, I fell in love 😻.

 The warm April weather really brings out the fruits (more fruity than citrusy) but not in a syrupy way, rather more fresh fruit. Then you get the sweet pea and apricot blossom that brings out the sweet floral notes. The woodsy note is not heavy but more like fresh cut wood (mostly in the opening instead of the base), which balances out the fruity florals from becoming too sweet.

⏳ Longevity: 3-4 hours

As an edt, this performs like one. Not a big projection or sillage, but within your personal space. I like this on days I know I want to wear a different night scent.

daytime, work (especially if you have close contact type of job- nurse, dentist, etc.), Easter, family get together

Although this was not a love at first sniff, this became a love at second sniff ❤️❤️❤️. Depending on which season you wear this, you get more of one note over the other. This is a great spring fragrance that stands out from your typical fruity floral, because of the shaved woods smell. Price (if you can get it at discounters) makes up for the lack of longevity so I highly recommend!!!

📋Review of Carioca Heart by Jusbox edp

Starts out like a mango pineapple daiquiri with a hint of rum (not boozy in any means). This mix drink is for the lightweights, the ones who like their cocktails more juicy/sweet than alcohol-y. Then the sandalwood and ambroxan kicks in, giving it a slight rubbery scent on me, but this gets better with each wear. Also, I am not a fan of either notes because my skin tends to turn rubbery, but not terrible in Carioca Heart. The drydown is where I hit gold: the sandalwood gives a creamy touch to the vanilla. 📋Review of Lait de Coco by Le Monde Gourmand edp

The milky white liquid gives this scent a resemblance to coconut milk. It’s not overly creamy but more of a watery coconut (with very slight sun tan vibes but quickly fades). I don’t like to drink coconut milk but if it had a scent, this is what I imagine it to smell like.
