📋Review of Thé Matcha from Le Monde Gourmand edp 🍊🍋🍵

This should be called “Thé Citrus” because it opens up as a strong citrusy scent with some green tea note (I say green tea instead of matcha bc it lacks the depth of matcha and more light, like green tea).

The citrus scent grows stronger throughout the wear and you only get a faint green tea note. The citrus scent is too sharp and screechy for my liking. Reminds me of unripened citrus fruits. Dries down like Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, if they had a citrus flanker.

 #️⃣ of sprays (6 skin / 0 shirt)

2 on each arm and 2 on each chest

⏳ Longevity:

On the upside, unlike the Pistachio Brûlée, this one has moderate projection and longevity (around 3 - 4 hrs)

👠 Occasion:

Casual, daytime, t-shirt and jeans kinda day

🌸☀️🍂❄️ Season:

Summer

🛍️ Purchased at:

Official website of Le Monde Gourmand

👩‍⚖️ Verdict: 👎

This is a pass for me because of the over-powered citrus notes and even for a citrus scent, I personally like my citrus sweet instead of tangy/sour. Maybe if I mix it with Pistachio Brûlée, the creamy sweet notes will mask the tangy citrus? (Will give update on that combo after I try it) So if you like tangy citrus, you might want to give this a try.

⚠️ Notes listed on Le Monde Gourmand website is different from Fragrantica, but my nose agrees with Fragrantica (unless they reformulated it after my purchase)

[notes from LMG] green tea, freesia, amber

[notes from Fragrantica] citruses, green tea, white flower
